New Tecos Ink Dispensing System in Nottinghamtecos
 As part of our continuing development and investment programme we have now commissioned the new TECOS Ink Dispensing system in our Nottingham Headquarters. This state of the art equipment is currently in use throughout the hubergroup but is the first installation anywhere in the UK. This machine has made further contribution to our production efficiency and also allows us to blend an even higher viscosity product with further enhanced colour pigment. A significant investment of £300,000 has made a big difference to our internal operations and production systems and all staff employed have been retained within the business and some re-deployed to other roles. Further plans are in place to install TECOS within our other UK sites.
 
 
 

hubergroup Packaging Award
2006 will see the hubergroup award the 'FuturePack Award' for the very first time. As a reward to honour outstanding innovations and cutting edge developments in the fields of conceptual design and the production of printed packages.
The FuturePack Award is intended to:
- Increase awareness of and feeling for the significance of outstanding packaging quality
- Point to opportunities for competitive advantage based on innovative packaging
- Emphasise the role of packaging as an essential product component
The FuturePack Award will be bestowed on all kinds of printed packaging such as:
- Packages made of paper and/or board
- Packages made of plastic
- Combined packages made of paper and/or board and plastic
For the 2006 Award, all printed packages that can be proven to have been brought into circulation in 2005 will be taken into consideration.

Who can enter the competition?
All companies who are involved in developing, designing, manufacturing and converting printed packaging are eligble to enter:
- Packaging designers
- Packaging developers
- Packaging printers
- Packaging manufacturers
- Proprietary article manufacturers

What's the benefit to you of taking part in the FuturePack Award?
- The FuturePack Award will be presented at a special ceremony in Munich
- The press will be informed of the names of the winners
- We intend to present those packages that win an award to the media and public
- PR & publicity campaign
- Presentation on the Internet
- Winners will be invited to a weekend at the Oktoberfest 2006 in Munich

How do you take part?
Complete the form stating the details of your company/persons/co-participants: manufacturer of the packaged product/packaging designer/agency/packaging printer.
Description of performance: aim/pursuance of aim/attainment of aim (e.g. production processes, materials used - 1 A4 page)
Sample of the packaging, plus permission to go public

Stehlin Welcomes Shareholders
shareholders meeting hubergroup including Stehlin Hostag Ink UK Ltd have always prided themselves as a family business so In October 2005, we were delighted to welcome the families and shareholders of the hubergroup to Nottingham for the weekend. Every year the Shareholders and families visit one of the hubergroup of Companies throughout the World and this year it was our turn. This was the first time that many of the guests had been to Nottingham to see our extensive facilities. Our weekend included a full tour of our facilities and an introduction to many of our committed staff as well as a tour of Nottingham and the surrounding area. Our visitors enjoyed the weekend immensely and we look forward to welcoming them again in the years to come.
