As a hubergroup company we maintain an extensive Research & Development Operation based within our Munich Headquarters & Swiss Based manufacturing plants. The skilled technicians at these sites receive feedback and deal with printers across the world enabling us to truly grasp the reality of the modern press hall and refine our Inks to achieve maximum performance and consistency.

Stehlin Hostag continues to invest heavily in service and after sales support. Although we only supply high quality, consistent products, the Litho process is so complex that support for our customers is of paramount importance.

Our national team of Technical Support Managers is experienced in all aspects of formulation and application in the ink, coating and chemical industries. We offer on site technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, working with our customers to achieve optimum press room performance. We understand the importance of keeping your presses running. Our Technical Support service operates a preventative approach whilst continually working alongside our customers to introduce new innovations and product technology.

All of our Nationwide Branches are fully equipped with the very latest Colour Spectrophotometry, networked to our Nottingham based Laboratory & TCM Studio. With extensive ink mixing facilities throughout the UK we blend sheetfed and heatset inks in batch sizes up to 500kgs. We employ only the very best colour matchers, technicians and quality controllers to ensure optimum colour consistency and maintain our reputation as the number 1 choice for special mixes and matchings.
